Kim Ji-soo (Korean: 김지수; born March 30, 1993), professionally known as Ji Soo, is a South Korean actor currently based in the Philippines. Before pursuing acting, Ji Soo was a competitive judo athlete during his elementary school years, participating at the national level until an injury halted his sports career. In 2012, he joined JYP Entertainment as an actor trainee, preparing for a future in the entertainment industry.
Ji Soo began acting on stage in 2009 and went on to appear in several short films, including a lead role in the Korean-Filipino independent film Seoul Mates. His breakout came in 2015 with his performance in the high school drama Angry Mom, which brought him public recognition. He followed that success with notable roles in Cheer Up! (2015), Page Turner (2016), and the popular historical romance Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016). That same year, he appeared in the coming-of-age film One Way Trip, solidifying his status as a rising young actor.
