Kensaku Kakimoto (柿本ケンサク) is a Japanese screenwriter & director. His also known as Kakimoto Kensaku. He was born on 9th December 1982 in Kagawa, Japan. He made an early impact with Barigaa and Colors in 2006, both of which showcased his unique visual style and ability to blend striking aesthetics with thought-provoking themes. These early works laid the foundation for a career defined by a keen sensitivity to human emotion and experimental storytelling.
In 2011, Kensaku Kakimoto directed UGLY, a provocative and stylistically bold project that pushed boundaries and cemented his reputation as a daring filmmaker. A decade later, Kakimoto gained renewed acclaim with Parasite in Love (2021), a dark romance that explored psychological trauma and intimacy with raw emotional power.
