Kanchi Singh (born 27 March 1996) is an Indian television actress best known for her roles as Gayatri Deora in StarPlus’s long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and as Avni Khandelwal in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. With her charming screen presence and natural acting talent, Kanchi has garnered a significant fan following in the Indian television industry.
Singh began her acting career as a child artist at the age of 9 with a small role in the popular television series Kutumb (2003). However, she soon decided to take a break from the entertainment industry to focus on her education, stepping away from the limelight to complete her studies before returning to acting.
After an eight-year hiatus, Kanchi made her comeback at the age of 17 with Colors TV’s Sasural Simar Ka in 2011, where she portrayed the character of Cherry Bharadwaj. Despite the limited scope of her role, her performance was noticed, and she exited the show in 2012, paving the way for more prominent roles in her career. Since then, Kanchi has established herself as a popular face on Indian television.
