Jessica Bianca Sula (born May 3, 1994) is a British actress best known for her portrayal of Grace Blood in the third generation of the E4 teen drama Skins and for her role in M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological horror film Split (2016). Her performances have highlighted her versatility, allowing her to transition between television and film with ease. With her growing body of work, Sula has established herself as a dynamic presence in both British and American entertainment.
Born in Swansea, Wales, Sula comes from a richly diverse background. Her mother, Shurla Blades, is of Afro-Trinidadian and Chinese descent, while her father, Steven Sula, has German and Estonian roots. Raised in the town of Gorseinon, she completed her A-levels in Spanish, French, and Drama at Gorseinon College, reflecting her early interest in the arts and performance.
Sula made her acting debut in Skins (2011), which gained her recognition and opened doors to further opportunities. She went on to appear in the ITV comedy-drama Love and Marriage and played the lead in the Freeform drama Recovery Road (2016). Her film credits include the lead in Honeytrap, as well as roles in Big Fork and Split. On television, she took on roles in Netflix’s Godless and VH1’s Scream: Resurrection (2019), continuing to showcase her range across genres and platforms.
