Pakistani actress, host, and producer Javeria Saud has finally spoken out about her legal battle with senior actress Salma Zafar. During a recent appearance on Express TV’s Ramadan transmission, Javeria candidly discussed the controversy that once stirred the entertainment industry.
Javeria explained that after facing public accusations from Salma Zafar, she decided to pursue legal action. She emphasized that the strength of the legal system helped her seek justice. Backed by solid evidence, Javeria said the court ruled in her favor—sentencing Salma Zafar to six months in one case and three months in another. Eventually, Salma also issued a written apology.
Speaking on the emotional toll of the process, Javeria admitted that going to court was not easy, but she felt it was necessary to take a stand. “I wanted to set an example for others who might be wrongfully accused,” she said.
On the other hand, Salma Zafar had made several serious claims against Javeria Saud’s production house. She accused both Javeria and her husband Saud Qasmi of withholding payments from senior artists like Shabbir Jan. In viral video statements, Salma had remarked that while the couple may have made money, they had lost their respect.
