Irfan Khoosat is a talented Pakistani actor, director, producer & comedian. He was born on 9th June 1946 in Lahore, Pakistan. Irfan is best known for his Choorian (1998), Aao Kahani Buntay Hain (2011), Zindagi Tamasha (2019) and Anaa (2019). Apart, Irfan is famous for his comic role as Hawaldar Karamdad in the TV series Andhera Ujala (1984-1985). He made his breakthrough as a child artist with Radio Pakistan, replacing an actor for Ultay Pultay.
Irfan Khoosat began his acting career in 1969 with the Punjabi-language movie Kochwan. While he is best known for his television work, he has since appeared in more than 100 films, including 66 in Punjabi, 39 in Urdu, and a 2013 Pashto film, Banke Lalya. Irfanhas directed the 1985 Punjabi-language film Direct Hawaldar, also acting in it, based on his famous role from Andhera Ujala.
As a producer of television serials, Irfan Khoosat mainly focused on comedy dramas like Shashlik Xtra Hott, Tamasha Ghar, Do Aur Do Chaar, written and directed by Sarmad Khoosat, including Aao Kahani Buntay Hain, directed by his daughter Kanwal.
