Ione Skye Lee, born on September 4, 1970, is a British-American actress best known for her breakout role as Diane Court in Say Anything… (1989), a cult classic directed by Cameron Crowe. She made her screen debut in the dark teen drama River’s Edge (1986), and went on to build a career with standout performances in indie and mainstream films throughout the 1990s. Notable roles include Gas Food Lodging (1992), Wayne’s World (1992), and One Night Stand (1997), showcasing her versatility in both dramatic and comedic settings.

Beyond her film work, Skye has appeared in several television projects, including The Twilight Zone (2002), Private Practice, and a memorable recurring role in Arrested Development. More recently, she joined the cast of NBC’s sci-fi drama La Brea (2021). In addition to her acting career, Skye is an accomplished painter and author of children’s books.
