Ibrahim Ali Khan is an famous Indian actor. His full name is Ibrahim Ali Khan Pataudi. He was born on 5th March 2001 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, developed a keen interest in acting from a young age. His first brush with the industry came at age seven, when he portrayed the younger version of his father’s character in the film Tashan (2008). However, the film’s commercial and critical failure left him disappointed, as recalled by his father.
In 2023, Khan gained behind-the-scenes experience by working as an assistant director on Karan Johar’s film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which also featured his sister Sara Ali Khan in a cameo appearance. This hands-on learning paved the way for his acting debut.
In 2025, Ibrahim made his acting debut as a lead actor with Johar’s company Dharmatic Entertainment’s Netflix romantic comedy Nadaaniyan, starring opposite Khushi Kapoor. He played the role of Arjun Mehta, a scholarship student hired by his wealthy classmate (played by Kapoor) to pose as her boyfriend. Unfortunately, the film was panned by critics. Anuj Kumar of The Hindu commented that Khan seemed to struggle with camera presence and delivery but noted his potential. Rishabh Suri from Hindustan Times was more critical, describing his performance as one-dimensional and underwhelming.
Despite this rocky start, Khan is set to appear next in the Johar-produced thriller Sarzameen, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol. He is also gearing up for the sports drama Diler, directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Both projects are anticipated to showcase a more refined and mature side of his acting talent as he continues to carve his place in Bollywood.
