Hong Jung-Eun (홍정은) is a South Korean screenwriter, She was born on 27th May 1974 in South Korea. She is best known for co-writing a series of successful and genre-defining dramas alongside her sister, Hong Mi-ran, forming the popular screenwriting duo known as the “Hong Sisters.” The duo gained widespread acclaim for their ability to blend fantasy, romance, and comedy in a way that appeals to both domestic and international audiences.
Hong Jung-eun rose to prominence with the 2015 romantic comedy Warm and Cozy, set on Jeju Island, which captured hearts with its light-hearted tone and charming characters.
