Farhat Ishtiaq is a well-known Pakistani writer, author and screenwriter. She was born on 23rd June, 1980 in Karachi, Pakistan. As a screenwriter, Farhat is best known for Diyar-e-Dil (2015), Bin Roye (2016), Yaqeen Ka Safar (2017) and Ye Dil Mera (2019). Although she has a master’s degree in civil engineering, she chose a career as a writer due to her passion for writing. She consummately dedicated herself to writing in 2005. She has published a lot of novels since then, which got wide recognition.
The most famous novel written by Farhat is Humsafar, and there are many others, such as ‘Dil se Nikle Hain jo Lafz,’ ‘Diyar-e-Dil,’ ‘Mata-e-Jaan HaiTu,’ and others. Later, in her career, she tried her hand in screen writing. She has also translated her own works as well as those of other writers. Ishtiaq has won numerous awards too.
