Katherine Elaine Hendrix (born December 28, 1970) is an American actress known for her versatile roles in both television and film. She gained recognition for her performances in Dynasty, Superstar, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, and the 1995 Get Smart series. Additionally, Hendrix appeared in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap, Inspector Gadget 2, and the 2004 pseudoscience film What the Bleep Do We Know!?.

Born and raised in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Hendrix’s early life was influenced by her father’s service in the Vietnam War, which led to limited involvement in her naming process. While her mother gave her the name Katherine Elaine, most of her relatives referred to her by her middle name, a practice that stuck throughout her life.
