Dileepan is an Indian actor working in the Tamil film industry. He made his acting debut as the protagonist in Vathikuchi (2013), a film produced by his elder brother, renowned director A. R. Murugadoss. Starring opposite Anjali, Dileepan portrayed an auto rickshaw driver whose life spirals into chaos after crossing paths with gangsters. The film was released to positive reviews and marked a promising start to his acting career.

Dileepan’s notable performance came in Kaala (2018), directed by Pa. Ranjith, where he played Selvam, the elder son of Rajinikanth’s character. His role in the socially charged drama about land rights in Dharavi earned him recognition. However, his next lead role in Kuthoosi (2019) did not succeed commercially, after which he transitioned to supporting and minor roles in various films, continuing his journey in Tamil cinema.
