Christopher Fulford, born in 1955 in London, is a British actor best known for his supporting roles in various British TV shows and films. His career began in the early 1980s, and one of his earliest appearances was as the punk character Alex in the short-lived sitcom Sorry, I’m a Stranger Here Myself (1981–82).

Throughout his career, Fulford has frequently appeared in British crime dramas. Notably, he appeared in the ITV crime series Inspector Morse, in the episode “Driven to Distraction” (1990), and in the early episode of A Touch of Frost titled “Widows and Orphans” (1994), where he played a killer. His versatility also extended to film, with a prominent role as Kaspar Van Beethoven in the 1994 movie Immortal Beloved.

In 1993, Fulford starred in the BBC adaptation of Scarlet and Black, sharing the screen with up-and-coming actors Ewan McGregor and Rachel Weisz. He also took on roles in popular TV series such as Dalziel & Pascoe, where he played a vigilante, The Fix as a corrupt ex-footballer, and Hornblower as Mr. Hunter.

Fulford’s wide range of roles in both drama and crime genres has made him a well-respected figure in British television and film, particularly known for portraying morally complex or troubled characters.
