Choi Gwi-Hwa (최귀화) is a South Korean actor, He was born on 3rd March 1978 in Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Choi Gwi-hwa began his acting career in theater, joining the Meulmye Theatre Company in Bucheon in 1997. Transitioning to screen, Choi honed his craft by appearing in numerous short films starting in 1999, before making his feature film debut in Why Did You Come To My House (2009).
His breakthrough came with the acclaimed drama series Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014), where he portrayed a deputy chief in a satirical depiction of corporate life. The role brought him significant recognition and established him as a reliable character actor. Choi continued to gain prominence with notable roles in high-profile films such as the zombie blockbuster Train to Busan (2016), the horror mystery The Wailing (2016), and the historical drama A Taxi Driver (2017).
