Choi Bo-Min (최보민) is a South Korean singer, actor & host, He was born on 24th August 2000 in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Choi Bo-Min made his official debut with Golden Child on August 28, 2017, with their first extended play (EP) Gol-cha!, which featured six tracks including the energetic title song “DamDaDi.” The group held their debut showcase at the Blue Square iMarket Hall on the same day as the album’s release, marking the start of Bo-Min’s journey in the entertainment industry.
Choi Bo-Min began exploring acting in 2019 when he appeared in the hit web drama A-Teen 2, portraying the charming and kind-hearted character Ryu Joo-ha, which earned him attention for his acting potential. That same year, he joined SBS’s popular reality program Law of the Jungle in the Chatham Islands, showcasing his adventurous and down-to-earth personality. In June 2019, his youthful visuals and fresh appeal led him to become the official brand model for the cosmetics company Lilybyred.
From July 2019 to July 2020, Bo-Min further expanded his career by co-hosting the iconic music program Music Bank alongside actress Shin Ye-eun, gaining recognition for his bright and professional hosting style. His acting portfolio continued to grow as he took on a role in the romantic comedy drama Melting Me Softly in 2019.

In September 2020, Choi Bo-Min starred as Seo Ji-ho in the JTBC fantasy drama 18 Again, impressing audiences with his heartfelt performance. The following month, he appeared in a commercial film (CF) for the innovative LG Wing smartphone. In February 2021, he became a brand model for the popular cosmetics label Etude and was later cast in the web drama Shadow Beauty (2021).
Unfortunately, on September 29, 2022, his agency reported that Bo-Min suffered a facial injury caused by an accident while practicing golf. Despite this setback, he remained determined to continue his career.
On August 27, 2024, Woollim Entertainment announced Bo-Min’s departure from Golden Child, along with members Tag and Ji-beom, after they chose not to renew their contracts. Bo-Min continues to pursue acting and modeling, showcasing his versatility and determination to grow as an artist.
