Charlie Kranz is a French actor. He was born in Mundelein, Illinois. Charlie Kranz is known for his dynamic range across film, television, theatre, and voice work. He is perhaps most recognized for his roles as the bad-tempered Clipper “Lars” in AMC’s Into The Badlands, the affable “Bob Tushy” in the romantic comedy Miss Conception alongside Heather Graham, and the quirky, lie-detecting FBI Special Agent “Reed Elvin” in the indie comedy Death of a Saleswoman, a role that earned him widespread acclaim.
His upcoming appearances include The Titans That Built America on The History Channel, and Stranger With a Camera, the directorial debut of Academy Award winner Oorlagh George, in which he stars alongside Owen McDonnell. These projects further solidify Charlie’s ability to seamlessly shift between period drama, psychological thrillers, and biographical storytelling.
Other notable credits include playing “Mike,” the son of Tom Berenger’s character in the comedy Supervized, “Laurent Legault” in the thriller Dark Justice, and “Jeff” in the award-winning short A Better You by Eamonn Murphy. He also lends his voice as “Vincent” in the concept album Origins by M-OPUS. His earlier work includes appearances in Batman Begins, The Honeymooners, and The Clinic.
