Charlie Huston is an American novelist and television writer whose work spans genres including crime, horror, and science fiction. Known for his gritty, genre-blending narratives and sharp, character-driven storytelling, Huston has published twelve novels with publishers such as Ballantine, Del Rey, Mulholland, and Orion. His work has been translated into nine languages.
Huston adapted his novel The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death for HBO, and Already Dead for HBO Max. His television writing credits include pilots for FX, FOX, Sony, and Tomorrow Studios, and he has served as a consulting producer on FOX’s Gotham, as well as participating in several high-level development rooms.
Among his most acclaimed works is the Henry Thompson trilogy—Caught Stealing, Six Bad Things, and A Dangerous Man. The series follows Henry Thompson, a baseball-obsessed, reluctant anti-hero who becomes entangled in violence and intrigue after a case of mistaken identity throws his life into chaos.
