Chaithanya Pingali is an Indian lyricist, writer, and assistant director known for his contributions to Telugu cinema. He began his film career with Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa (2017), where he co-wrote the screenplay and served as associate director. He also penned lyrics for the film’s soundtrack, including the title track and “Oosupodu,” which contributed to the film’s critical and commercial success.

In 2021, Pingali collaborated again with director Sekhar Kammula on Love Story, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. He wrote the lyrics for the song “Ay Pilla,” which became a popular romantic track. His lyrical contributions, alongside his behind-the-scenes work, helped shape the film’s emotional tone and narrative depth.

Pingali’s upcoming project is Kuberaa (2025), a multilingual social thriller directed by Sekhar Kammula and starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna. He co-wrote the screenplay, which explores themes of wealth, greed, and redemption through the transformation of a beggar into a powerful figure. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 20, 2025.
