Brad Williams (born January 13, 1984) is an American stand-up comedian and actor widely recognized for his energetic humor, often centered around his experiences with dwarfism. Born with achondroplasia, Williams has used his condition not only as a subject in his comedy but also as a unique lens through which he explores broader social and cultural topics. He grew up in Fullerton, California, attending Sunny Hills High School before enrolling at the University of Southern California, which he left to pursue a full-time career in comedy.
Williams’ career began in a serendipitous moment at a live Carlos Mencia show when he was just 19. After Mencia made jokes about dwarves and noticed the audience’s hesitation to laugh, he invited Williams on stage. Williams’ impromptu performance impressed Mencia so much that he invited him to become his opening act. This opportunity launched Williams into national tours, including Mencia’s “Mind of Mencia” and “Punisher” tours, quickly building his reputation as a sharp, fearless comic. In 2022, Williams took on a new chapter in his career by becoming the lead comic in Mad Apple, a Cirque du Soleil production in Las Vegas that blends circus acts with stand-up comedy.
