Salman Khan, one of the biggest stars in Bollywood, has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning over three decades. His films have been massive hits not just in India but also in Pakistan, where he has a huge fan following. Many of his movies have broken box office records in Pakistan, making him one of the most loved Bollywood actors across the border. With his much-anticipated Eid release, Sikandar, on the horizon, Salman Khan is actively promoting the film.
Pakistani actors and singers were once a regular part of Bollywood projects until 2016 when political tensions led to a ban on their participation in Indian films. Since then, collaborations have been scarce, with only a few instances of cross-border projects. However, recent reports suggest that Pakistani stars like Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir are in talks for upcoming Indian projects, reigniting discussions about artistic collaboration.

Salman Khan has always been vocal about his support for Pakistani artists working in Bollywood. Even during difficult times, he spoke against the ban, advocating for a more inclusive entertainment industry. Recently, during a press event for Sikandar, he once again expressed his willingness to work with Pakistani celebrities. He stated that he has no personal objections and is open to collaborations, provided that the necessary permissions and visas are granted by both governments.
According to FilmFare, Salman Khan said:
“Take the permission from here, and I am ready to work with them. Or get them a visa and take permission from the government here.”
His statement has sparked fresh conversations among fans and industry insiders about the possibility of Bollywood and Pakistani entertainment industries coming together once again. With more Pakistani stars making waves internationally, it remains to be seen whether cross-border artistic collaborations will resume in the near future.
