Bobby Balachandran is an Indian-American film producer and entrepreneur. He was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, who ventured into film production under his banner, BTG Universal. He made his debut as a producer with Demonte Colony 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the popular horror-thriller, directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. Known for backing fresh concepts and ambitious projects, Balachandran has quickly built a reputation for supporting content-driven cinema.

Among his upcoming ventures is Chennai City Gangsters, a gritty crime drama directed by Vikram Rajeshwar and Arun Keshav, which explores the underbelly of Chennai’s criminal world. Another major project in the pipeline is Retta Thala, directed by Kris Thirukumaran, starring Arun Vijay, Siddhi Idnani, and Tanya Ravichandran.
