Billie Catherine Lourd, born July 17, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress known for her roles in both television and film. She rose to fame portraying Chanel #3 in the horror-comedy series Scream Queens (2015–2016) and has since become a mainstay in the American Horror Story anthology series starting in 2017. Lourd also appeared in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015–2019) as Lieutenant Connix, sharing the screen with her real-life mother, Carrie Fisher, who famously portrayed Princess Leia. As the only child of Fisher and talent agent Bryan Lourd, Billie Lourd comes from a storied Hollywood lineage, which includes her grandparents Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher.
Raised in Los Angeles, Lourd was deeply immersed in the entertainment world from a young age. Her childhood included a close friendship with Frances Bean Cobain and an appearance at the prestigious Le Bal des débutantes in Paris in 2008, where she wore Chanel. Academically, she charted her own course by designing a degree in “Art and Business as Religion” at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, graduating in 2014. Her unique upbringing and creative education have helped shape her distinctive presence in Hollywood, blending legacy with a modern edge.
