Ben Lawson, born on February 6, 1980, is an Australian actor who first gained prominence for his role as Frazer Yeats in the long-running soap opera Neighbours, a part that earned him a Logie Award nomination. Following his early success in Australia, Lawson transitioned to American television, landing roles in shows like The Deep End, Covert Affairs, and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. He also appeared in the romantic comedy No Strings Attached (2011), starring alongside Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher. From 2017 to 2018, Lawson played political staffer Damien Rennett in the ABC drama Designated Survivor and later took on parts in 13 Reasons Why as a baseball coach and The Good Place as Larry Hemsworth.

In 2019, Lawson portrayed Lachlan Murdoch in the film Bombshell, acting alongside his real-life brother Josh Lawson, who played James Murdoch. His most recent notable role was in Netflix’s drama Firefly Lane (2021–2023), where he starred opposite Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke. Raised in Brisbane, Lawson grew up in a large family with four brothers, including fellow actor Josh Lawson.
