Belinda Bromilow is an Australian actress known for her work in both Australian television and international projects. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Betty Bell in the Nine Network series Doctor Doctor (2016–2021), where she was a series regular across all episodes. Bromilow has also appeared in several popular Australian TV shows, including McLeod’s Daughters, Packed to the Rafters, and Rake. She was a key part of the cast in Spirited from 2010 to 2011, playing Jonquil Payne. In addition to her television career, Bromilow has had roles in films such as The Rage in Placid Lake and Not Suitable for Children.
Bromilow’s career reached greater international recognition through her portrayal of Aunt Elizabeth in the Hulu/Disney+ series The Great (2020–2023). Interestingly, she initially auditioned for a role in the 2008 Sydney Theatre Company production of the play that inspired the series but was unsuccessful.
