Tejinder Singh “Babbu” Maan, born on 29 March 1975 in the village of Khant Maanpur, Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab, is a renowned Indian singer-songwriter, music director, actor, and film producer. Widely celebrated in the Punjabi entertainment industry, Babbu Maan is known for his powerful voice, emotive lyrics, and commitment to Punjabi culture and identity through his music and films. He has become one of the most influential figures in Punjabi music, with a massive fan following both in India and among the Punjabi diaspora worldwide.
Since the late 1990s, Maan has been actively involved in creating music and cinema that resonates with Punjabi audiences.
