Asif Raza Mir is a Pakistani actor and producer. Asif Raza Mir was born 26th September 1959 In Lahore, Pakistan. He is known for his roles in TV plays Samudar, Tanhaiyaan, and Ishq Gumshuda and the films Daaman (1980), Badaltay Mausam (1980), and Maan Jao Na (2018). Since beginning his acting career at the young age of 17, Asif Raza Mir has built a prolific and respected presence in the entertainment industry. Over the decades, he has appeared in numerous acclaimed Pakistani films and television series, earning recognition for his versatile acting skills and impactful performances. He has been a part of many iconic TV dramas that have contributed significantly to the growth of Pakistan’s television industry.
In 2020, Asif Raza Mir made his international debut with the British action-crime series Gangs of London, produced by Sky Atlantic and AMC. He joined the cast as a series regular, portraying a key role that introduced him to a global audience. His performance was praised for its depth and intensity, showcasing his ability to adapt seamlessly to international productions. With this milestone, Asif Raza Mir not only expanded his career beyond Pakistan but also became one of the few veteran actors to successfully transition to international screens.

During the peak of his acting career, Asif Raza Mir diversified his professional pursuits by entering the advertising industry. He co-founded the advertising and production company Blazon alongside renowned actress Uzma Gilani. Blazon was a trailblazer in Pakistan’s media landscape, being among the first companies to digitize its art department. It became known for its innovative projects, including the music program Gold Leaf Rhythm Whythm, which introduced some of the country’s earliest music videos. Blazon also gained acclaim for producing music videos for the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. After operating for about a decade, the company eventually ceased its operations, and Asif Raza Mir later relocated to Canada.
In 2009, he returned to Pakistan’s media scene by co-founding A&B Entertainment with producer Babar Javed. Within a few years, A&B became a powerhouse in television production, and by 2013, it was recognized as the second-largest television studio in Pakistan, after Moomal Productions. The company was instrumental in modernizing the drama industry by producing high-quality content across multiple networks, nurturing new talent, and exploring innovative storytelling styles. However, around five years after its founding, A&B Entertainment also ceased operations, marking the end of another significant chapter in Mir’s multifaceted career.
