Telek is a Canadian actress and former beauty queen, born and raised on the North Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia. She began her career in modeling, notably winning a Shiseido Cosmetics contract for Asia in 1989–1990. Her pageant success peaked in April 1994 when she was crowned Miss Canada, leading to international recognition and participation in global competitions.
Her acting career includes a range of roles in both television and film. She is best known to broader audiences for her role as Denise in Mr. Troop Mom, a George Lopez-led TV movie. Telek has continued to show her versatility, with work in video games such as Dead Rising 4 (2016), where she voiced a survivor, and television, including a Leo-nominated guest role in Rogue (2017). Her career reflects both critical acclaim and broad appeal across various entertainment mediums.
