In the year 2016, Apinderdeep Singh started his acting career by playing Gurmukh Singh in ‘The battle of Saragarhi’. The movie got shelved even after a stretched schedule of about 3 years due to inevitable circumstances, that led him to disappointment but he still fought with it. He again began his career in December 2019 as Intern Assistant Director to Gowtam Tinnanuri in ‘Jersey’ (2022), 3rd Assistant Director to Ratna Sinha in ‘Middle-class Love’ (2022), 3rd Assistant Director to Mayank Sharma in Amazon Prime’s web series ‘Breathe Into The Shadows’ Season 2 (2022).
Then, made his acting debut playing ‘Sukhi’ in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Jogi’ – a Netflix Original released on 16th September 2022 based on real incidents happened in between 31st October – 4th November 1984. He played the character of Jogi’s elder Brother who helped him and his family in the escape from the mob.
