Anudeep K.V. is an popular Indian director & writer. He was born on 27th December 1985 in Narayankhed, Andhra Pradesh, India. Anudeep K.V. first gained attention through his short film Missed Call, which showcased his knack for humor and relatable storytelling. The film’s success brought him recognition among Telugu filmmakers, leading to opportunities to contribute as a dialogue writer for several film projects. Building on his early success, Anudeep joined filmmaker Virinchi Varma as an assistant director for the romantic drama Uyyala Jampala (2013), where he honed his directorial and narrative skills.
In 2016, Anudeep K.V. made his directorial debut with Pittagoda, a coming-of-age drama set in a small town. Despite its sincere storytelling, the film had a low-key release and failed to make a significant impact at the box office. However, Anudeep’s unique sense of humor and character-driven writing caught the attention of filmmaker Nag Ashwin, who encouraged him to create a film inspired by Missed Call. This led to the 2021 blockbuster Jathi Ratnalu, a madcap comedy that became one of the most profitable Telugu films of the year.

Following this success, he directed the Tamil film Prince (2022), starring Sivakarthikeyan. In 2022, Anudeep contributed as a writer for First Day First Show, and in 2023, he made his acting debut with Mad, marking yet another creative milestone in his multifaceted career.
