He was born on 12th December 1970 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, who works in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi film industries. Anal began his career in the film industry as an extra fighter and later worked as an assistant to several prominent stunt masters, including Rambo Rajkumar, Judo K. K. Rathnam, Vikram Dharma, Jaguar Thangam, Kanal Kannan, Stun Siva, and Peter Hein. Deeply influenced by his father, C. M. Arasu Sr., who was involved in several movies during the 1980s, Arasu was inspired from a young age to pursue a career as an “action man.” His passion for stunts and fight sequences led to his debut as a lead stunt coordinator with the film Chatrapathy.
Following his debut, Arasu collaborated with celebrated director Prabhu Deva on the high-octane action films Vedi (2011) and Rowdy Rathore (2012), which brought his work to mainstream attention. He later worked with director A. R. Murugadoss on the blockbuster Kaththi (2014) and with director S. Shankar on the visually stunning I (2015). Arasu’s dynamic and impactful action direction continues to set new standards in Indian cinema.
