Amit Prasher is an Indian director. He was born on March 21, 1980, in Nakodar, Punjab, India. Amit works primarily in the Punjabi film industry. Amrinder Gill and Yo Yo Honey Singh starred in his debut movie Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 in 2013. Amit made his feature film directorial debut with the Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22.

In 2015, Amit directed another comedy movie Munde Kamaal De starring Yuvraj Hans, Amrinder Gill, Mandy Takhar, and Binnu Dhillon. However, unlike his previous movies, Munde Kamaal De failed to impress the audience and was a box office failure. His 2018 release includes Jagga Jiunda E.
Amit completed his graduation from the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in 2000 with a degree in B.Com. He later earned his Post Graduate Diploma in Commercial Arts from the Apeejay College in Jalandhar in 2003. The following year, Amit also completed a six-month diploma course in Film Making and Direction from the Digital Academy in Mumbai.
