Amelie McKendry is a dynamic American actress known for her versatility and enduring presence in film, television, and commercials for nearly two decades. With a career that began on the pilot episode of Miss Match, she has since appeared in over 30 productions, including acclaimed TV shows like Orange Is the New Black, Law & Order: SVU, and The Bold and the Beautiful. Her film work includes roles in All We Had with Katie Holmes, Norman with Richard Gere, Bubble Girl, and the thriller Double Vision. A member of SAG-AFTRA, Amelie has also worked on Emmy-winning HBO mini-series documentaries such as The Jinx and A Wilderness of Error.
Born in Buffalo, New York, Amelie was raised in a creative household that nurtured her early love for the performing arts. Of UK and European descent, she was named after her great-grandmother, a Welsh opera singer. She pursued formal training at California State University, Los Angeles, earning a B.A. in Theater Arts and Dance while gaining professional experience in acting, modeling, and dance. In 2025, she will begin her graduate studies in Media Producing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, with plans to graduate in 2027.
