Alizeh Shah Shares Emotional Message Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha

Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah recently shared a deeply emotional message on social media ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, and it has touched the hearts of many fans. In her message, she not only talked about the religious importance of Qurbani (sacrifice) but also raised awareness about animal rights and how we treat sacrificial animals during this time.

In an Instagram story, Alizeh wrote, “This has been on my heart for a long time. I know that Qurbani is a Sunnah and a way to honor the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). But are we truly keeping the spirit of that sacrifice alive?” Her question has sparked discussions among fans and followers, as she called for more compassion and mindfulness during Eid celebrations.

Alizeh focused on a few key points in her message. She strongly urged people to avoid sharing blood-filled photos and videos of the animals being sacrificed. She also asked people not to make memes out of animals’ fear and suffering, reminding everyone that these living beings feel pain and fear just like humans do. She said that instead of proudly posting about the size or number of animals we are sacrificing, we should promote humility and kindness.

She wrote, “Every year, I see blood flowing on the streets and fear in the eyes of these animals. They can’t speak, but they do feel. Can we not respect their emotions?” Her message was not a criticism of the religious ritual but rather a gentle appeal for more respectful and considerate behavior.

Alizeh clarified her intention by saying, “This is not a judgment of anyone’s faith. Islam teaches us mercy and respect. Can we perform the act of sacrifice while also keeping that spirit alive?” Her words reflect a desire to make Eid-ul-Adha a time of reflection, mercy, and true religious spirit. In the end, Alizeh said, “This is my personal point of view. You may disagree with me, and that’s okay. But I had to say what has been weighing on my heart.”
