Afzal Khan aka Jan Rambo is an well known Pakistani actor, director, producer and comedian. He was born on 1 September 1966 in Havelian, Abbottabad, Pakistan. Afzal Khan began acting in stage dramas in Islamabad. The number of featured films that he has signed in a single day is 26, which is the record for the greatest number of plays by PTV that are only broadcast in Islamabad and Peshawar.
In 1991, he appeared in PTV’s comedy series Guest House as Jan Rambo, a janitor who became the most popular character. Rambo has appeared in more than 150 movies. As a result of his success as Jan Rambo, he began receiving offers from movie studios.
