Pakistani actress Sarah Omair, widely known for her performances in dramas like Thora Sa Aasma and Roug, has made a bold and emotional revelation about a disturbing incident that took place during a drama shoot early in her career. She recently opened up during a morning show interview, recalling how she was repeatedly harassed by a director while working on a project in a remote town in Sindh.
Sarah shared that the incident happened several years ago while the cast and crew were having a meal together during the shoot. As they sat around a small table, the director suddenly touched her inappropriately under the table. Shocked and uncomfortable, Sarah initially gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming it might have been unintentional. She quietly got up and changed her seat to avoid any further discomfort.

However, the situation only worsened. Despite switching her seat, the director once again reached under the table and touched her. That moment confirmed to Sarah that it wasn’t a mistake — it was intentional. She felt deeply disturbed by the incident but chose to remain calm, deciding to handle it firmly if the behavior continued.
The very next day on set, the director continued his inappropriate conduct, touching not just Sarah but also other actors under the pretext of giving directions. When he once again crossed the line with her, Sarah lost her patience. In a powerful act of self-respect and courage, she slapped the director in front of the entire team and immediately walked away from the project, refusing to continue working in such an environment.
Sarah Omair’s brave action and her decision to speak out publicly is being applauded by many. Her story is a reminder of the importance of standing up against harassment and ensuring that workplaces, especially in the entertainment industry, are safe and respectful for all.
