Abhishek Bachchan is an well known Indian actor and as well as a talented producer. He was born on 5th February 1976 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, who is the son of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. The most famous Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan will be a part of the new upcoming Indian movie Bholaa (2023). In the year 2000, Abhishek started his career with J.P. Dutta’s war drama, “Refugee.” Thereafter, he worked in a series of movies, which were average at the box office. Abhishek, then, appeared in “Dhoom” which was his first commercial success. His performance in the film was appreciated. After, Bachchan featured in Yuva (2004), Sarkar (2005), and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). In 2007, Bachchan portrayed the role of Dhirubhai Ambani in the drama film, “Guru.”

In 2008, Abhishek Bachchan appeared in a diverse set of films that showcased his range as an actor. He starred in Ram Gopal Varma’s political thriller Sarkar Raj, alongside his father Amitabh Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The same year, he featured in the romantic comedy Dostana with John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra, which was a box office hit and became known for its contemporary take on friendship and relationships. He also took on the superhero genre with Drona.

In 2009, Abhishek made his debut as a film producer with Paa, a critically acclaimed comedy-drama in which he also starred alongside his father. The film went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.

However, the following years saw a career slump, with commercially unsuccessful films like Delhi-6 (2009), Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s satirical drama, Raavan (2010) directed by Mani Ratnam, and the action thriller Game (2011).

Abhishek made a strong comeback with Bol Bachchan (2012), a comedy co-starring Ajay Devgn, which became a major box office success. He then played supporting roles in two of the highest-grossing Indian films of the time: Dhoom 3 (2013), where he reprised his role as ACP Jai Dixit, and Happy New Year (2014), a multi-starrer heist comedy.

Following the success of Housefull 3 (2016), Abhishek took a short break from acting. He returned in 2018 with Anurag Kashyap’s romantic drama Manmarziyaan, earning critical appreciation for his restrained and mature performance.

Abhishek Bachchan belongs to A Kayastha Hindu Family. His father, Amitabh Bachchan, is a senior Bollywood actor. His mother, Jaya Bachchan, is a Bollywood actress and politician. Abhishek has a sister, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, who is a model and a journalist. On 20 April 2007, Abhishek married Aishwarya Rai. The couple has a daughter named Aaradhya, who was born in 2011.
