Aadukalam Murugadoss is an Indian actor known for his supporting and character roles in Tamil-language films. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Dhanush’s friend in Vetrimaaran’s critically acclaimed film Aadukalam (2011). The film’s success prompted him to adopt “Aadukalam” as a prefix to his stage name. Prior to this breakthrough, he appeared in small roles, notably as a Kabaddi team member in Ghilli (2004) and as a guard in Kanchivaram (2008). His cameo as a mentally challenged person in Mounaguru was also widely appreciated by critics.
Following his success, Murugadoss continued to feature in key supporting roles, often playing the protagonist’s aide in action films like Thadaiyara Thaakka (2012) and Mugamoodi (2012). In 2013, he acted in films such as Kutti Puli, Thagaraaru, and Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal, showcasing his versatility. He later played a prominent role alongside Dinesh in Visaranai (2016), a film that received international acclaim. Murugadoss made his solo lead debut with Raja Magal (2023), marking a new chapter in his acting career.
