Aaditi Pohankar is an well-known Indian actress. She was born on 30th December 1994 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The popular actress, Aaditi Pohankar began her artistic journey in theatre, where she honed her acting skills under the mentorship of her mother and renowned theatre personalities. Her first on-screen appearance came with a minor role in the Hindi anthology film Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010). A year later, she landed her first major role in the Marathi film Kunasathi Kunitari (2011), marking the beginning of her professional acting career.
A turning point came when acclaimed filmmaker Nishikant Kamat noticed her performance in Makarand’s play Time Boy, where she impressively portrayed a seven-year-old boy. Deeply impressed by her range and dedication, Kamat cast her in the Marathi blockbuster Lai Bhaari (2014), opposite Riteish Deshmukh. In this film, Aditi played a strong villainous role that won her wide praise for her intensity and screen command. Critics lauded her ability to embody evil with depth and conviction, and Lai Bhaari went on to become one of the highest-grossing Marathi films of all time.

In 2017, Aaditi Pohankar ventured into Tamil cinema with Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Raajanum, starring alongside Atharvaa. However, her national recognition came with the Netflix web series She (2020), where she played a timid police constable used as a honeytrap. Her performance was hailed as “riveting” by critics for bringing out the complex transformation of her character.
Later that year, Aaditi Pohankar starred in Aashram (2020–present), portraying Pammi, a young Dalit wrestler drawn into the ashram’s manipulative system. Her raw, compelling portrayal earned her critical acclaim and established her as one of India’s most promising talents. Trained by wrestler Sangram Singh for the role, Aditi continues to impress with her dedication and versatility.
