Kangana Ranaut is a famous Indian actress and film director. She was born on 23rd March 1987 in Bhambla, Himachal Pradesh, India. Kangana is well known for playing notable roles in Bolly wood movies including Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009) and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010) Queen (2013), Krrish 3 (2013) Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019), Panga (2020) and also she plays the lead role and film maker in the upcoming movie Emergency (2023) opposite Anupam Kher.

Kangana made a debut in Bollywood with the romantic thriller, “Gangster.” She was just 17 while filming and described her craft as raw and immature. The film emerged as a commercial success and her role was praised by the audience.

Kangana father, Amardeep Ranaut, is a businessman and contractor and her mother, Asha Ranaut, is a school teacher. She has an elder sister named Rangoli and a younger brother named Akshit Ranaut.
