Siva is a South Indian director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. He was born on 12 August 1977 in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India. who works primarily in Tamil cinema.

Siva began his film career as a cinematographer for Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. As a film director and screenwriter, he began his career with Souryam (2008), followed by Sankhamhit (2009), and Daruvu (2012).

In Tamil cinema, Siva became a screenwriter and director with Siruthai (2011), which became the second Telugu film to enter the 100 Crore Club worldwide. Additionally, he made Veeram (2014), Vedalam (2015), Vivegam (2017), Viswasam (2019), and Annaatthe (2021).
