Akhilendra Mishra is an Indian actor. He was born on 28 March 1962 in Chhapra, Bihar, India. He is best known for playing the role of ‘Karoor Singh’ in the TV serial “Chandrakanta” (the 1990s). Mishra mostly plays villainous and comic roles.

Akhilendra started his acting career in 1990 with the TV serial “Udaan.” Next, he played the role of Kroor Singh in Doordarshan’s television series “Chandrakanta.”

His role was praised by the public. Mishra debuted in films in 1993 with the film “Bedardi.” Subsequently, he was featured in movies like “Lagaan,” “Gangajal,” “Hulchal,” “Dewar,” “Muavza,” “Veer-Zara,” “Do Duni Char,” and “Kabil, and also part of the upcoming movie Indian 2 (2023) which will be released in 2023

Mishra has also appeared in several TV serials including “Bhagyavidhaata,” “Ramayan,” “Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev,” “Diya Aur Baati Hum,” and “Tu Mera Hero.” In 2019, he was featured as the father-in-law of the lead in Star Bharat’s romantic comedy show “Pyaar Ke Papad.”
