Mohan Raman is a South Indian actor and also known as a writer. He was born on April 3, 1956, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. In addition to writing for The Hindu, Raman has also worked on Hindi-language films including Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995) and Chennai Express (2013).

Mohan Raman’s debut film was Idayam in 1991, followed by Mahanadhi (1994), Once More (1997), Kuselan (2008), and 24 (2016). In addition to doing more than 6000 television episodes on Chinna Pappa Periya Pappa (2001-2005) and Anandham (2005-2009).
