Mahwash Ajaz is a new Pakistani screenwriter. He was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She writes her first upcoming Pakistani movie, Yaara Vey ( 2022), which will be released on 2 December in Worldwide.

Mahwash Ajaz has been associated with Pakistan Television, FM 100, Geo Network, and ARY as an anchor. She has also been a faculty member at various varsities in Karachi. Her topics of interest have been gender and human rights, film, and television, and also Mahwash lives in Dubai with her husband and two children.
