Ploynira Hiruntaveesin (พลอยนิรา หิรัญทวีศิลป์) formerly Phatchara Tubthong, nicknamed Kapook is a Thai actress. She was born on 29th October 1994 in Bangkok, Thailand. Ploynira Wattanachai, known simply as Ploynira, is a talented Thai actress who began her career in the entertainment industry in 2016. She made her acting debut with the popular teen television series Senior Secret Love: My Lil Boy, where she played the supporting role of Orn. Her character gained enough popularity for her to reprise the role in its sequel, Senior Secret Love: My Lil Boy 2, within the same year.

After building her presence with several supporting roles across different dramas, Ploynira landed her first leading role as Pan in Love Songs Love Series: Sabai Sabai, starring alongside Tanont Chumroen. This role showcased her potential as a lead actress and earned her increased recognition within the industry. Shortly afterward, she signed with the entertainment giant GMMTV, marking a significant step forward in her acting career.

In 2020, Ploynira Hiruntaveesin demonstrated her versatility by taking on diverse roles in multiple GMMTV productions. Ploynira Hiruntaveesin role as Jane, the leader of a group of bullies in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (2021), introduced her to an even wider audience. That same year, she played the antagonist Mim in The Player, her first major villainous lead.

In 2024, Ploynira took on two sapphic roles that explored tragic romantic dynamics. She portrayed Judy in The Trainee, whose relationship with Ba-Mhee (Kanyarat Ruangrung) ends in heartbreak, and Pim in Pluto, whose love story with Pang (Rutricha Phapakithi) meets a similarly painful fate. These emotionally intense performances further solidified her position as one of the most compelling young actresses in Thai television.
