TikToker Sajal Malik Opens Up About Her Relationship with Imran Ashraf

Sajal Malik, the popular Pakistani TikToker and host, is no stranger to the spotlight. With over 515k followers on TikTok and around 500k followers on Instagram, she has built a strong fan base thanks to her entertaining road shows and her remarkable speaking skills. However, recently, Sajal Malik has found herself caught in the middle of a controversy related to an alleged fake leaked video.

In a candid conversation on Ali Hamza’s podcast, Sajal Malik took the opportunity to clarify rumors and open up about her personal life, especially her relationship with Imran Ashraf.

Sajal revealed that Imran Ashraf, the talented Pakistani actor and host, is actually a relative of hers. “Yes, Imran Ashraf is our relative. In fact, he is my mother’s cousin, and of course, he knows my mother,” she said. While Sajal confirmed that they share a family connection, she made it clear that they don’t meet often. “He only attends important family events like weddings, but we haven’t met in person yet—not even at any shows,” she shared.

Despite their familial bond, Sajal expressed immense pride that Imran Ashraf is part of their family. She recalled a time when she reached out to him on Instagram, seeking advice about entering the entertainment industry. “I once approached him because I wanted to join showbiz,” she revealed. “I sent him a direct message on Instagram telling him I wanted to enter the field. But then I realized it wasn’t the right thing to seek help from relatives.”

Sajal’s aspirations to become an actor didn’t pan out as she had hoped. “At that time, I wanted to become an actor, but anchoring happened accidentally,” she said with a smile. She went on to explain how she shared a photo of her mother with Imran to establish their connection, and he was kind enough to say he would try to refer her somewhere. However, Sajal faced a setback when she lost access to her Instagram account, including the chat thread with Imran. “Unfortunately, I lost access to my Instagram account and lost the thread,” she said, adding that she messaged other agencies for work but never heard back.
