Brec Marie Bassinger (born May 25, 1999) is an American actress best known for her roles in children’s and superhero television series. She first gained attention in the recurring role of Emma in the 2013–2014 Nickelodeon series The Haunted Hathaways. Following this, she landed the lead role of Bella Dawson in the Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs (2015–2016), a show that showcased her comedic timing and acting range. Bassinger’s most notable role came in 2020 when she portrayed the titular character in the American superhero television series Stargirl, which aired on DC Universe and later The CW until 2022.
