“The film is a suspense thriller and a dark comedy, I would say,” Ahsan told Instep, adding that it is not funny but a ‘dark comedy’. “I think this genre hasn’t been explored before, as far as I can think of films that have come out in the new age of cinema. It is a well knitted, interesting film; I have gone through the script a couple of times and I like it.”
Neelam Muneer and Ahsan Khan have featured together in Chupan Chupai that received decent reviews and numbers at the box office. Neelam was also the female lead opposite Sami Khan in Yasir Nawaz’s film Wrong No. 2 that released last year. She had been waiting for the right script after that and in Chakkar, she probably found one. Neelum can also be seen in the ongoing drama serial Kahin Deep Jaley alongside Imran Ashraf.
Once again Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer will appear as an on-screen couple and they will win the heart of their fans with a new look and outstanding acting.
