The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has decided on new dates for the exams that were postponed earlier. According to sources who spoke to 24News on Tuesday, the board has finalized fresh dates for both written and practical exams. These changes were made to help students and ensure exams can be completed without further delays.
As per the latest updates from board officials, the intermediate exams for Islamic Studies and Principles of Accounting are now expected to be held on May 17. These subjects were delayed earlier, but now students can prepare for this confirmed date.
On the same day, May 17, practical exams for matric (10th class) students will also take place. The subjects include Computer Science, Biology, and Food and Nutrition. These practicals are important for final grades, and students should be ready with their practical notebooks and preparations.
In addition, some other postponed papers for intermediate students have also been rescheduled. The subjects include Tarjimatul Quran, Ethics, and Social Studies. These exams are likely to be held on May 24. Students studying these subjects should now focus on revising their syllabus to be ready on time.
However, this new exam schedule is not final yet. It still needs to be approved by the Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen. Once the committee agrees, the board will officially announce the new dates. After that, roll number slips will be issued to all the students who were affected by the postponement. These slips will include the new exam dates and centers.
Students are advised to stay updated through official announcements and continue their studies with full focus.
