Atlas Honda Increases Motorcycle Prices from July 1, 2025

Honda Increases Motorcycle

Atlas Honda Limited, the biggest motorcycle manufacturer in Pakistan, has officially raised the prices of all its bike models. The new prices will take effect from July 1, 2025, with an increase ranging between Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 6,000 per bike.

Why Did the Prices Go Up?

This price hike comes after the government introduced a new 1% Carbon Levy on imported motorcycle engines in the federal budget for the fiscal year 2025-26. As a result, companies like Atlas Honda are now passing this additional cost onto the buyers.

Motorcycle dealers and people working in the industry have confirmed this increase. Muhammad Sabir Shaikh, the Chairman of the Association of Pakistan Motorcycle Assemblers (APMA), explained that this new tax has left manufacturers with no choice but to raise their prices.

Updated Prices of Popular Honda Motorcycles

Here’s a breakdown of how much each model now costs:

  • Honda CD 70 – The most commonly used bike in Pakistan now costs Rs. 159,900, which is Rs. 2,000 more than before.
  • Honda CD 70 Dream – Also increased by Rs. 2,000, now priced at Rs. 170,900.
  • Honda Pridor – This model’s price went up by Rs. 3,000, making it Rs. 211,900.

Mid-Range Motorcycles See Bigger Hikes

For those who prefer stronger bikes, the prices have gone up more:

  • Honda CG 125 – Increased by Rs. 4,000, now costing Rs. 238,900.
  • CG 125 Self-Start – Now priced at Rs. 286,900, also a Rs. 4,000 increase.
  • CG 125 Gold Edition – Has also gone up by Rs. 4,000, now sold at Rs. 296,900.

High-End Models Face the Biggest Increases

Premium models saw the sharpest rise in prices:

  • Honda CB 125F – Got a Rs. 6,000 price hike, now costing Rs. 396,900.
  • Honda CB 150F – Now priced at Rs. 499,900.
  • Honda CB 150F Special Edition – Has reached Rs. 503,900.

These are the highest increases across the Honda motorcycle lineup.

What Does This Mean for Buyers?

Atlas Honda controls over 50% of the motorcycle market in Pakistan, which means any price change by the company affects a large number of people. With rising inflation, higher fuel costs, and a general increase in the cost of living, this new price hike will be an added burden on ordinary citizens. Many people who rely on motorcycles for daily transport may now find it even harder to afford a new bike.

Experts say this move could slow down motorcycle sales in the coming months, especially among low-income buyers who are already struggling with tight budgets.
