Apple has officially updated its smartwatch lineup with three new models — Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. Each watch comes with fresh design changes, stronger durability, and advanced health features. The most noticeable upgrade across the lineup is the addition of 5G connectivity, making these the first Apple Watches to support faster and more stable mobile connections. Apple has also introduced new health tools, including hypertension awareness and an improved sleep tracking system, making the watches more than just fitness accessories.
Apple Watch Series 11
The Apple Watch Series 11 is now the thinnest smartwatch Apple has ever made, offering a sleeker design while maintaining strength and durability. The screen is protected by Ion-X glass with a ceramic coating, which Apple says is twice as tough as the material used in the previous generation. This makes the watch more resistant to scratches and daily wear.
The Series 11 is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes and comes in two casing options: aluminum and titanium. Apple has added new colors to give users more choice. Aluminum models are available in Jet Black, Silver, Rose Gold, and Space Gray, while titanium models come in Natural Titanium, Gold, and Slate.
One of the biggest health additions is hypertension awareness, which can warn users about possible blood pressure issues. This feature is still waiting for FDA approval, but once cleared, it could be a game-changer for people with blood pressure concerns. Apple has also added a new sleep score system, rating your rest out of 100 points based on how long you sleep, how consistent your sleep is, and how many times you wake up.
Other key health features include continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, and the usual fitness tracking options. Battery life has also been improved, offering up to 24 hours of usage on a single charge.
Prices for the Series 11 start at $399 for the 42mm aluminum model and $429 for the 46mm version. If you want the cellular model, it will cost an extra $100.
Apple Watch SE 3
The Apple Watch SE 3 is Apple’s more affordable option, but it still comes with impressive upgrades. For the first time, the SE line now supports an Always-On Display, so users can see the time and notifications without raising their wrist. It is powered by last year’s Apple S10 chip, ensuring smooth performance, and it also supports optional 5G connectivity.
The SE 3 is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes and introduces new controls such as double-tap gestures and wrist flick actions, making navigation easier. Charging has also been improved — with just 15 minutes of charging, you can get around 8 hours of use, which is helpful for busy users.
In terms of health tools, the SE 3 includes the same sleep score system, heart rate monitoring, and blood oxygen tracking that come with the higher-end models. This makes the SE 3 a strong option for users who want advanced features at a lower price.
The SE 3 is available in Starlight and Midnight finishes, starting at $249. Pre-orders are already open, and deliveries begin on September 19.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is the most premium model in the lineup, designed for people who want maximum durability, performance, and battery life. It features a brand-new LTPO 3.0 OLED display, which is brighter, clearer, and comes with thinner bezels, giving it a more modern look.
This model also supports optional 5G connectivity and includes enhanced satellite features for Emergency SOS, messaging, and location sharing through Find My — a big advantage for outdoor adventurers and travelers who may be in areas with weak cellular signals.
Like the Series 11, the Ultra 3 also offers hypertension awareness and the new sleep score system. But what sets it apart is its battery life. The Ultra 3 can last up to 42 hours on a single charge, making it the longest-lasting Apple Watch ever released.
The Ultra 3 is available in Black Titanium and Natural Titanium finishes. Prices start at $799, with deliveries beginning on September 19.
Apple’s 2025 smartwatch lineup focuses heavily on health, durability, and connectivity. With 5G support, improved displays, and advanced health tools like hypertension monitoring and detailed sleep analysis, these watches are not just for fitness lovers but also for people who want to take better care of their overall health.
Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly SE 3, a balanced Series 11, or the power-packed Ultra 3, Apple’s new watches offer something for everyone.
